In this role, Lody is responsible to provide support in research, analysis, project management, and stakeholder engagement for WRI Indonesia programs in West Papua Province. This includes conducting research and GIS analysis on Papua’s forest and land use, specifically issues related to One Map Policy, natural resource management, land-based commodities, and equitable society. On top of conducting research, he works closely with government agencies, private sector, and other NGOs to develop collaborative approaches for strategy development and project implementation at the provincial and district level in West Papua Province.

Prior to working on this, Lody worked as a GIS Research Analyst with main responsibility to provide support in research, spatial analysis, project management, and stakeholder engagement related to One Map Policy, landscape monitoring, and other initiatives intended to accelerate the implementation of low carbon development.

Lody holds a Master of Science in sustainable forest management from Oregon State University (OSU) and Bachelor of Science in forestry from State University of Papua (UNIPA). In his spare time, he enjoys watching movies and traveling.
