Bio

Hermawati Widyapratami (wiwid) is a researcher of Wahana Riset Indonesia program at WRI Indonesia. She conducts research under one map initiative program specialized in sustainable commodities in relation with conflict transformation.

Prior to joining WRI, Wiwid worked as an environmental engineer at one Construction Company in wastewater and water treatment plant area. She conducted experiment about wastewater, gave analysis and treatment recommendation. Beside working in WRI, wiwid is also a casual lecturer in one private university in Indonesia.

Wiwid holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering from Bandung Institute of Technology, Indonesia. In her spare time, she enjoys teaching piano for children, and traveling. She is also really like Indonesian culture, food and traditional fabric.

But the supply chain is complex, and we should understand such complexity before achieving traceability.
