Do you know that 68% of the global population will live in urban areas by 2050? The number equals to an additional of 2.5 billion people. Unfortunately, among these urban population, there are 881 million people who lives in slums and do not have any basic access to water, sanitation, and housing.

Urban populations will play a significant role in tackling the effect of climate change as well as resolving issues related to living in the city, such as air pollution, mobility, water depletion and waste management.
