Geraldy Arief is a Project Lead for Research and GIS Project for WRI Indonesia programs in Papua. He is responsible for research aspects, spatial analysis, project management, and stakeholder engagements for several WRI Indonesia programs in Papua.

Prior to joining WRI Indonesia, he worked for Conservation International Indonesia (CI-I) as a Field Conservation and GIS Officer for Sustainable Landscape Partnership project. He is responsible for any spatial work in West Papua.

He also worked for World Wild Fund for Nature (WWF) Indonesia as a Regional Spatial Plan Coordinator in Asmat Regency for USAID project called IFACS.

He has a bachelor’s degree in marine studies from Universitas Negeri Papua. In his spare time, he likes to travel to new places. He also likes soccer, automotive, and singing.
