Heriza Leni
Program Planning Monitoring and Livelihood Coordinator
In this role, Leni works closely with the program team to implement comprehensive monitoring and reporting framework by capturing and reporting the progress, collecting, and maintaining supporting documents, ensuring the data are updated and stored effectively in WRI Regional Riau Office. She assists Riau Senior Program Lead to manage the project implementation in Riau as well.
Before joining WRI Indonesia, Leni worked as a Project Manager and Monitoring, Evaluation Responsible Person at Oxfam in Indonesia. She also worked as a monitoring and evaluation officer for Eastern Indonesia office for more than 2 years at the same organization. She used to work in the Ministry of National Development Planning (Bappenas) to monitor and evaluate multilateral funding projects from The World Bank, Asian Development Bank, IsDB, and UN Agencies, as well as the government program for almost 4 years.
Leni graduated from Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), majoring in Regional Development at the Faculty of Geography, and then received a scholarship for a Master's Degree in Population Studies at the same university. She also completed several courses, i.e M&E Qualitative Research in Ethiopia; Community Based Eco-Tourism in The Philippines; Asia Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) for Influencing Project in Thailand and some other course related to M&E technique, and Gender.
She loves to explore the new places and food and listening to music in her leisure time.
