Bali Transport Decarbonization Project Lead
Haiqal is a Sustainable Infrastructure Business Specialist with 7+ years of experience in FP&A, PPP investment, sustainable finance, and infrastructure development. Currently at WRI Indonesia, he leads climate finance solutions and the Bali Transport Decarbonization Program, supporting Bali’s transition toward a more sustainable and low-carbon transport system. His work spans policy advisory and institutional strengthening, investment preparation and financial structuring, stakeholder engagement, and the development of the Bali Low Emission Zone Initiative (BLEZI) to promote more sustainable and people-centered urban mobility.
He has extensive experience in financial modeling, portfolio management, investment analysis, and divestment strategies, with a strong ability to bridge financial perspectives with public policy and sustainable development objectives. He holds an MBA and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Universitas Gadjah Mada. Passionate about continuous learning and creating lasting impact, he is committed to working effectively, exploring new ideas, and contributing to initiatives that can leave a meaningful legacy. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling, exploring new places, and discovering new experiences.
