Dhio Teguh Ferdyan is a Forest and Legality Initiative Project Lead at WRI Indonesia. He is responsible for conducting research and analysis in addressing illegal logging through by strengthening sustainable and legal forest management and promoting trade in legally produced timber including advancement in monitoring and tracking technology such as DNA analysis on timber by products.

Prior to joining WRI Indonesia, Dhio worked for The World Agroforestry Centre (ICRAF) where he focused on policy analysis on land-based governance and sustainable landscape planning approach. He also spent four years working for NGO in the area of advocacy and forest monitoring.

He holds a Bachelor of Forestry from the Bogor Agricultural University (IPB University) and currently pursuing his master’s degree in Natural Resources and Environmental Management Science at the same university.

During his spare time, he likes outdoor activities, swimming, reading books, and watching movies.
