Developing National Data Systems to Drive Decision-making for the Global Plastic Treaty and Beyond

A deep dive into the types and sources of data that are available on plastics' full lifecycle and how this data can be utilized for informed decision-making, developing national action plans, and monitoring its effectiveness. The session will discuss case studies from Australia and Indonesia on impactful plastic data management.
The session is co-hosted by the University of New South Wales (UNSW) Centre for Sustainable Reform, Global Ocean Accounts (GOAP) Secretariat, WRI Indonesia, Indonesia NPAP, and Tangaroa Blue Foundation.
