Gema is a GIS Research Analyst in WRI Indonesia. He is responsible in leading WRI Indonesia AFOLU research efforts to develop spatial insights to inform key national policy-making processes as well as to support the capacity development program of AFOLU unit on spatial analysis research.

Prior to WRI, he worked as a Conservation Spatial Planning Officer at WWF Indonesia and Remote Sensing & Geographic Information System Consultant at CIFOR. He holds a B.Sc. in Geography and M.Sc. in Environmental Science from Universitas Gadjah Mada, Yogyakarta.

He is a coffee lover and often spends his free time reading books and traveling.
