Preferably called by Umma, he is an Administrative & Executive Assistant with 8+ years of expertise in travel coordination, procurement, immigration services, and diplomatic administration. His daily duties including travel management, coordinating with related departments in the Human Resources, Accounting, and Project Managements, officers from regional offices and with the global sustainability champions in improving WRI Indonesia's commitment to 'walk their talk'.

Started his career at the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Afghanistan, Umma grew his awareness in humanitarian and environmental issues affecting the Afghanis. During his duty, while assisting Indonesia's diplomacy mission, he supports Indonesian citizens who works there. Through them, he learns about Non-Government Organizations' various works, thus motivated him to join their works.

Umma attended a boarding school since his Junior High School years until he obtained his bachelor's degree at the Darussalam Institute of Islamic Studies (currently University of Darussalam) Gontor, thus completing 11 years of study. Even though he majored in Arabic Language Education, his motivation has always to be impactful to the people around him, when finally bringing his career to WRI Indonesia.

To relax himself, Umma indulged in football, reading related articles about football, even casually watching football analysis and learning more about it.  As a student of linguistics, he still likes to learn other languages even after being fluent in Arabic and English. Currently, he is learning German and looking forward to learn Spanish and Italian in the future.
