Sutra is a committed conservationist and an aspiring environmental economist, with a demonstrated history of working in the non-profit organization management industry. Her work in WRI Indonesia is to mainstream the ethical supply chain principles to key supply chain actors from government officials, private sectors, and civil society.

Before WRI, she worked with The Nature Conservancy, developing new marine projects for their Ocean Program, which mainly focused on conserving sea turtle nesting beaches in East Nusa Tenggara through spatial planning, government collaboration, and community empowerment.

Sutra first received her Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology from University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). She then pursued her master degree with the Australia Awards Scholarship where she receives her master's degree in Environmental Economics from University of Queensland, Australia.

Her career goal is to be able to work in an organization that can allow her to become a bridge between environmental science and economic development. She hopes to instill understanding, confidence, and trust in the minds of businessmen, other profit-oriented corporations, and government officials towards conservation and sustainable development.

Sutra is from Jakarta and now lives with her husband and her dog, Kiko. For fun, she very much enjoys traveling, culinary, cooking, interior design, watching movies, and scuba diving.
