To share knowledge and experience to improve the capacity that is useful for more reliable National Forest Monitoring System (NFMS) of Indonesia, WRI Indonesia, together with the Ministry of Environment and Forestry (MoEF) and the National Institute of Aeronautics and Space (LAPAN) conducted a workshop at the University of Maryland from the 12 to 16 of March 2018. The workshop was hosted by the Department’s Global Land Analysis and Discovery (GLAD) laboratory and focused on national-scale forest monitoring using advanced algorithms applied to time-series earth observation data.
