Faricha Hidayati
Industrial Policy Analyst
Faricha Hidayati is an Industrial Policy Analyst at WRI Indonesia, where she focused on conduction research to accelerate the decarbonization of Indonesia’s industrial sector through sustainable policy frameworks and innovative solutions.
She holds a Master’s degree in Renewable Energy and Clean Technology with Extended Research from The University of Manchester, specializing in clean energy and sustainable materials. Prior joining WRI Indonesia, she worked as Industry Decarbonization Coordinator at IESR, Consultant for ADB mission, and Energy Research Assistant at ASEAN Centre for Energy. Throughout her career, Faricha has contributed to significant research works on green industry policy frameworks, low-carbon technologies, and sustainable business practices for large and small companies in high emitter sectors such as cement, metal, and chemicals.
Faricha is passionate about bridging the gap between industrial growth and environmental sustainability by using practical, data-driven solutions. She believes in the power of collaborative efforts to achieve net-zero emissions goals.
In her free time, Faricha enjoys baking, which helps her maintain a balanced perspective while managing complex sustainability challenges.
