Ardi is a Climate Urban Analyst at WRI Indonesia. He is responsible for strengthening research work within Climate and Cities portfolio, focusing on spatial analysis for climate mitigation and adaptation and nature-based solutions in urban areas, as well as project administration and stakeholder engagement. Previously, he has also been involved in supporting the development of EMISI platform, an individual carbon footprint calculator for behavioral and lifestyle changes that promote lower emissions and tree planting efforts.

Prior to joining WRI Indonesia, Ardi worked as a Landbased Emission Analyst at the Low Carbon Development Indonesia (LCDI) Secretariat under the Ministry of National Development Planning/Bappenas. He was responsible for conducting spatial analysis and calculating emissions from the forestry and peatland sectors to monitor and evaluate the achievement of Indonesia's emission reduction targets. Previously, he also worked as an individual consultant as a GIS Analyst for NGOs and governments in various projects related to climate, forests, and hydrology. Ardi graduated with a bachelor's degree in Applied Meteorology from IPB University and continued his postgraduate studies in Climate and Environmental Science at the same university.

In his spare time, he enjoys playing tennis and exploring places and nature.
