Rizky is a Climate Economic Researcher at WRI Indonesia. His work focuses on the economic and regulatory dimensions of climate policy, particularly carbon pricing, carbon markets, and the just transition. He contributes to research and policy engagement on the design and implementation of Indonesia’s emissions trading, carbon taxation, carbon crediting, and international carbon-market mechanisms.

Rizky is also involved in developing climate-economic models to assess the effects of climate change and mitigation policies on Indonesia’s economy. His broader research has examined the economic impacts of electric-vehicle adoption, approaches to measuring progress toward a just energy transition, carbon pricing implementation in developing-country contexts, and modeling pathways towards decoupling emissions from economic growth.
