Syafii is the Energy Transition Project Lead at WRI Indonesia, leading a decarbonization and energy transition program for a dairy cooperative in West Java. He ensures the program's sustainability, from planning to stakeholder and beneficiary engagement. The initiative aims to enhance farmer productivity and reduce cooperative operational costs through renewable energy utilization and energy efficiency.

Before joining WRI, Syafii gained multidisciplinary experience in disaster response, education, health, women's empowerment, and environmental issues. These experiences strengthened his understanding of community dynamics and he believe that transformation is sociotechnical, requiring a balance between humans and nonhumans for sustainability.

Syafii holds a bachelor's degree in education from Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia and a master’s degree in development studies from Institut Teknologi Bandung. He has a strong interest in development and Science and Technology Studies (STS). Outside of work, he enjoys cycling around the city, visiting museums, and exploring local cuisine while traveling.
