Dewi is the Nature-based Solutions Manager at WRI Indonesia, where she leads the development and implementation of research and practical tools aimed at harnessing climate finance for nature-based solution (NBS) projects. These projects focus on ecosystem protection, restoration, and management across Indonesia. Her role is pivotal in converting research findings into actionable strategies and tools that facilitate collaborative NBS efforts among various stakeholders.

As the Workstream Lead for the Southeast Asia Climate and Nature-based Solution (SCeNe) Coalition, a coalition of eight NGOs in the region. Dewi lead a team of geospatial scientists and conservation experts in developing the NBS Tool, designed to provide data to open financial pathways for local organizations to develop NbS projects.

Dewi is also committed to pioneering sustainable financing mechanisms and governance models that provide Indigenous Peoples and Local Communities (IPLCs) with enhanced financial opportunities and decision-making power. This approach aims to promote inclusive conservation practices throughout Indonesia.

Before her tenure at WRI, Dewi received with a Future Conservationist Award from the Conservation Leadership Program and co-founded Thresher Shark Indonesia in 2018. This organization focuses on the conservation of endangered thresher sharks while supporting the livelihoods of dependent coastal communities. Her passion for conservation is matched by her love for data analysis, demonstrated through her role as a Research Fellow at the Australian Climate and Water Summer Institute. There, she contributed to understanding the drought and water crisis in the Murray-Darling Basin with the support of the Murray-Darling Basin Authority (MDBA) and Geoscience Australia.

Dewi's academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science from the Bandung Institute of Technology in Indonesia and a Master of Environmental Management from the University of Queensland, awarded through an Australia Awards Scholarship. Her commitment to leadership in sustainability was further developed through the IDEAS Asia Pacific Program at the MIT Sloan School of Management, a program designed to transform leadership styles for sustainability. Additionally, Dewi has completed the Changing Minds Behavioural Science course at UCL Psychology and Language Sciences, a program designed for selected emerging leaders and researchers at WRI to get advanced insights in risk management, decision-making, and social behavior.
