Dini Fauziah Amattullah
Transport and Urban Design Specialist
Dini Fauziah Amattullah is a Transport and Urban Design Specialist at WRI Indonesia, where she supports projects focused on street design, active mobility, and sustainable urban development. She is currently contributing to the Bloomberg Initiative for Global Road Safety (BIGRS) and the Bali Low Emission Zone Initiative.
She holds a Master’s in City Planning from UC Berkeley and a Bachelor’s in Architecture from Institut Teknologi Bandung. With over six years of experience as an urban designer in local and multinational firms, Dini brings deep expertise in urban planning, active mobility, and placemaking. Her graduate research explored the relationship between public school facilities and neighborhood amenities in Oakland, California, reflecting her interest in spatial equity and community well-being.
Dini is passionate about how cities evolve and influence everyday life through the urban form. She approaches urban challenges by examining cities at multiple scales, from the street and neighborhood to the city and regional level. She believes that cities should be co-created with the communities they serve, making inclusion central not only to the result but to the entire planning and design journey.
In her free time, she enjoys practicing tennis and getting her 10,000 steps in.
