Vikan is a Senior Program Lead for the Electric Mobility Program at WRI Indonesia. His involvement in WRI includes various research and program management related to the electric mobility transition from assisting government to prepare the strategy for electric bus deployment, developing EV roadmap, and improving urban mobility strategy. 

Prior to joining WRI Indonesia, Vikan had experience working with one of the Big4 consulting firms as well as a non-profit organization in the transportation and infrastructure sector. His professional experience consists of leading transportation and infrastructure projects which are mostly funded by international organizations such as the World Bank, UN, UK Government, German Government and Chinese Government, where he led several projects related to the development of electric buses, BRT, high-speed railway, and inclusive mobility.

Vikan graduated with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering at Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology (ITS) and an MSc in Transportation Planning and Engineering at the University of Southampton. During his studies, Vikan showed a strong interest and focus on transportation economics topics on the highway and high-speed rail projects and was active in several student organizations.

In his free time, Vikan enjoys doing sports activities such as gym and golf, as well as exploring local cuisine in city with his folding bike.
